Kathmandu, March 13, 2017: The nationwide exam of the Secondary Education Examination – SEE, previously called as School Leaving Certificate (SLC) has been announced to start from March 16.
Organizing a press conference on Monday, the Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur released timetable of the examination.
After the amendment in education law for holding SLC at the end of the 12th year of school education, the examination of class 10 this year will be taken as SEE. The exams will be held from 8 to 11 in the morning.
Speaking on the occasion, examination controller at the OCE, Mr. Ambika Prasad Regmi informed that all the preparations for the exams are completed. He further informed that all the materials necessary for conducting the exam, including question-papers and answer-sheets have already reached the respective districts.
A total of 538,182 candidates are taking the examination this year.
