Dhankuta, Jan 30,2015: An armed group has looted property worth three million rupees at Jitpur VDC in Dhankuta on Thursday night.The group comprising 10 masked persons looted around Rs 300,000 and rudraksha (Elaeocarpus ganitrus) worth Rs 2.7 million from the house of Shiva Shanker Limbu aka Narayan of Jitpur-6.Police said that the group looted the cash and rudraskha at a time when only Limbu’s mother and sister were in the house.A neighbour Yubraj Poudel said that the robbers also looted two mobile sets after thrashing his mother and sister.According to the District Police Office, police have started searching for the looters.
