Pokhara, 7th February, 2015 : Vice-President Parmnand Jha has said that the trend of brain drain was becoming a huge problem in the country.
Vice-President Jha said so while inaugurating the 15th Parent’s Day of the Kaski Modernized Academy Higher Secondary School at Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City-14.
If the political interference was prevented at the government schools, it could provide quality education as that of the private schools.
Vice-President Jha said that the private schools should play a crucial role in producing capable human resources, who can easily get dignified employment in foreign countries.
Ghimire, Koirala Honoured
On the occasion, he honoured senior artist Tulsi Ghimire and popular singer Haridevi Koirala by offering shawls and Rs 10,000 to each.
Similarly, teachers, who worked at school over 10 years, were honoured with the ‘Dirgha Sewa Padak’.
The school has now 1,700 students and 130 teachers and employees combined.
