Kathmandu, November 10, 2018: The Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Deepak Raj Joshi is the first Nepali to be felicitated by the highest IIPT Champions in Challenge Award 2018 in London, UK.
The award has been presented by “International Institute for Peace Through Travel and Tourism” at the International Travel Crisis Management Summit (ITCMS). As per the organizer, CEO Joshi is venerated with this award in the recognition of his continuous hard work and success in bringing and bouncing back the tourism in Nepal. Though Joshi was appointed CEO of NTB during a very crisis period, his accountable leadership during such crisis phase helped him to bagged the award.
Thus, it has been recognized and appreciated by not only the International Travel Trade fraternity but also by important councils like the IIPT. Now, he is an International Ambassador for Peace and Tourism. The IIPT Champions in Challenge Award 2018 is a boosting factor at the time when Nepal has been promoting Visit Nepal 2020 in the global market.
