Chair vows to develop RSS a better platform for professional journalism

Butwal, 8 March, 2015 : Chairman of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Kul Chandra Wagle interacted with the office bearers of the Nepal Press Union, Rupandehi.

 

Speaking at an interaction programme organised in Butwal today, Chairman Wagle said that as a news agency, RSS would be developed a better platform for professional journalism.

 

Stating that there would be no development of the country without professional journalism and urged the journalists to be professional.

 

Wagle, who is also the former chair of Nepal Press Union, said the RSS failed to execute all its programmes as its annual budget is very minimal.

 

On the occasion, Press Union Rupandehi chair Bikram Khadka, former central members Ramraja Pokharel and Bishnu Bhusal, advisors Khimanand Bhattarai and Dailson Adhikari, among others urged Wagle to make RSS a professional news agency.
