9 JAN 2014: Gunshots and explosions have been heard at the site where suspects of the Charlie Hebdo shootings are holding at least one hostage north of Paris.

The two suspects, brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi, have barricaded themselves in a printworks warehouse in Dammartin-en-Goele.

A gunman has also seized hostages at a kosher supermarket in eastern Paris.

Explosions and gunfire could also be heard at that site, at Porte de Vincennes.
