Gaushala, 24th December,2014Â : Normal life in Mahottari district has been affected with the sudden fall in mercury of late.
The Prakauli based Sher Battalion of Nepal Army has distributed firewood for bonfires to keep warm after normal life in the district has been affected due to the harsh cold.
The NA has distributed firewood to manage bonfire in different corners at all the Wards of the district headquarters Jaleshwor,
and surrounding VDCs, including Matihani, Pipara, Prakauli, and Suga, among other VDCs, said Bishnu Bahadur Karki, the Battalian Commander.
Similarly, the Jaleshwor Municipality managed firewood for bonfire in different corners of the municipality for last two days to give relief from the chilling cold.
The biting cold has badly affected life of human, cattle, and winter crops in the district.
