Kathmandu, August 29, 2018: The statement announcing holidays on August 30-31 for schools and colleges in the Kathmandu Valley has been released by the Ministry for Federal Affairs and General Administration.
Since Nepal is hosting the fourth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), the local governments have appealed educational institution to close on the mentioned date for the security purposes and to manage the movement of the VIPs arriving the valley for the summit.
