Ilam, Jan 15: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Ilam has intensified a campaign to cut off electric line after blacklisting those not paying electricity tariffs.
The NEA has started cutting off electricity line once publishing public notice in various media for a week.
The electricity authority has come up with the move by publishing the list of 422 users not paying electricity bills. The due from them is around Rs 1.7 million, said the NEA, Ilam section.
Among those avoiding for electricity bill payment are Surakshya Grill Industry, timber industry and Marwadi Sewa Samiti.
