Felicitation program by PP Prasai Foundation

Kathmandu, September 12, 2018: Tham Maya Pun, a teacher at Paudar Secondary School, Myagdi has been awarded as the PP Prasai National Best Teacher 2018 whereas tourism entrepreneur, Pravakar Sumsher Rana has been honoured as the ‘PP Prasai Lifetime Achievement Award’ by the Minister for Education, Science and Technology; Giriraj Mani Pokharel at an award ceremony organized by P P Prasai Foundation. Pun was presented with a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

The event took place at the Hotel Shankar on September 5, 2018. Similarly, Geeta Ojha from Aadarsh Secondary School (Province no. 1), Birendra Kumar Singh from Shree Janata Higher Secondary School (Province no. 2), Saroj Kumar Pandey from Tilintar Higher Secondary School (Province no. 3), Balaram Bhandari from Shree Bhawani Higher Secondary School (Province no. 4), Kiran Poudel Acharya from Dhambohji Secondary School (Province no. 5), Purna Bahadur Dangi from Shree Adarsh Higher Secondary School (Province no.6) and Raghunath Pathak from Shree Devasthal Secondary School (Province no. 7) were also felicitated as ‘PP Prasai Regional Best Teacher.’

They all were awarded with Rs 25,000 each along with the certificates. P P Prasai Foundation has been encouraging teachers from various community schools across the country which was highly praised by Minister Pokharel. In the memory of tourism entrepreneur Prajapati Prasai, the foundation was established on February 19, 2011 to promote the education and tourism sectors.
