Biratnagar, 3 June, 2015 :  24,145 quintal of rice and other food stuffs is being sent by  CPN (UML) Morang district committee to more than 7,000 earthquake-hit people in the affected areas today.
CPN (UML) district chair Mahesh Regmi said “21 tonnes of relief materials including rice, biscuits and others collected from village, constituency and district committees would be distributed to the earthquake-hit families in Sindhuli district in the first phase.”
The party committees from the nearby locations were asked to submit the relief materials in the party district office while others were asked to send directly to the earthquake-affected communities, said Chief of publicity department of UML Morang Satyanarayan Chaudhary.
Likewise, the collection of the relief materials is going on and would be distributed to the affected families in the next phase.
