Itahari, 24 Jan 2015: Minister for Health and Population Khagaraj Adhikari today inaugurated a guest house built at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan, Sunsari.
On the occasion, Minister Adhikari said he was hopeful that the newly-built structure would come handy for accommodating the relatives of the patients coming to visit them at the hospital.
The 29-roomed guest house, built at cost of Rs 60 million, was constructed to make the hospital more sophisticated and convenient for both the patients and the visitors.
The Minister, who is also the Pro-Chancellor of the Institute, was of the belief that the Institute stood for the good friendship between Nepal and India.
On the occasion, Prof Dr Bal Bhadra Das shed light on the details of the guest house along with the current status of the Institution.
The Institute built in the financial aid from the Government of India and been rendering health service is going to mark its 11th convocation day on Sunday.
