Damak, Feb 24,2015: A team of the Armed Police Force destroyed huge amount of illicitly produced liquor at the Bhutanese refugees’ camp of Beldangi in Jhapa district.
According to Police Inspector Ramesh Pande, the liquor as much as 125 litres was seized from the camps and destroyed in the presence of the representatives of social organizations on Monday.
Meanwhile, a newly elected camp management committee has begun a programme on security and sanitation in the camp.
The committee secretary Sancha Hang Subba said the people in the refugee camps were made aware on how they could prevent the casualty in disasters as fire.
