Kathmandu, Dec 9,2014:Â Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae has called on CPN (UML) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal at latter’s residence in Dallu this morning.
During the meeting, UML senior leader Khanal told the Indian ambassador that the parties were holding discussions for issuing a new constitution on slated time and he was confidence for the same, Khanal’s personal secretary Krishna Bhattarai said.
Leader Khanal said his party was committed to promulgating the new constitution on slated time to lead the nation on the way to economic development and social transformation.
Ambassador Rae inquired about the latest political development and ongoing constitution drafting process.
Likewise, the two held discussions on issues of mutual interest and concerns.
