Biratnagar, March 2,2015: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)-Nepal Kamal Thapa has said that an all-party meeting representing in the Constituent Assembly (CA) was necessary to troubleshoot the existing political stalemate.Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, Chairman Thapa expressed the view that it was necessary to move ahead by making a schedule for the promulgation of a new constitution on the basis of suggestions from the all-party meeting.He also blamed the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and UCPN (Maoist) for pushing the country into crisis due to their wrong policy and greed for power.The RPP-Nepal Chairman further said the new constitution writing process was obstructed due dispute over some districts in state restructuring despite consensus was forged on most of the issues.He said his party was now out from the CA after the questionnaires prepared by the Questionnaire Development Committee failed to incorporate the party’s concerns on secularism, federalism and form of governance.
