Gajuri (Dhading), Feb 15,2015: The Chepang children from Huilingbesi of Gorkha district have been provided big river tube (set of boating tube) and educational materials in view of the hardship they face while negotiating the Trishuli River merely on the ordinary rubber tube.
The Chepang children are forced to go to school by crossing the River on a simple rubber tube because of not having a bridge in the environs.
An Australian national living in Nepal for long, Linden Kein, and the students at Trinity College of Kathmandu collected the fund, bought the materials as big river tube, water proofed bag and stationeries and provided to the needy children reaching the Trishuli River banks on Saturday.
Similarly, various other people working in the trekking contributed life jackets and solar bulbs to the children.
There are only four Chepang houses at Huilingbesi. They have not got any social entitlements the government provides.
