Kathmandu, 15 March, 2015 : General Manager of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) Madhav Kharel has resigned from his post today citing health problems.
Spokesperson of the NAC Ramhari Sharma confirmed that GM Kharel has submitted his resignation letter at the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation.
“He has tendered resignation citing health problems. I have no knowledge about other issues,” Sharma added.
Kharel was appointed the GM of the NAC through open competition some two years ago.
Meanwhile, Senior Director of the NAC Ramesh Bahadur Shah has been given the responsibility of Officiating GM after Kharel quit the post today effective from next month.
