Kathmandu, February 21, 2018: With an aim to promote Nepalese goods and services in Bangladesh, selected Nepalese exporters have also been invited to showcase their products on the expo, Embassy of People’s Republic of Bangladesh is all set to organize ‘Fourth Bangladesh Expo 2018’and 2nd Nepal-Bangladesh Business Forum from February 23 to February 27, 2018, at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu.
The five days trade fair will showcase products of entrepreneurs and renowned business houses from Bangladesh. Building and construction materials, furniture, readymade garments, sarees, plastic products, cosmetics, diversified jute product, textiles, footwear, ceramics, tiles, leather products, electronic appliances, machinery, handicraft, processed foods, IT solutions, education institutions, jewelry will be showcased in the expo.
There will also be an art exhibition which will feature the works of twenty- three aspiring artists from Bangladesh to promote the rich culture and tradition of Bangladesh.
According to the Embassy, the sole purpose of organizing the trade fair is to grow and enhance the trade and business relations between Bangladesh and Nepal and to promote Nepalese products as well as products of Bangladesh in one common platform. It will also help the entrepreneurs to establish their business in a larger platform and connect them directly to the consumers.
Mashfee Binte Shams, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal mentioned that the expo is a big opportunity for the entrepreneurs of Bangladesh to become familiar with the market of Nepal. She also opined that the two countries should work together for socio-economic development and future prosperity of the nation.
