Tulasipur (Dang),17 Jan 2015: A man was killed and a woman injured when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck at Arjunkhola in Lamahi of Dang along the East-West Highway on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Sunil KC,21, of Lalmatiya in the district, according to Ward Police Office, Lamahi. KC succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
Pillion rider 19-year-old Sunita Nepali sustained serious injuries in the accident and is undergoing treatment at the Medical College in Kohalpur.
The accident took place after the truck (Na4Kha9072) and motorcycle (Ra2Pa 6599) were involved in a head-on collision, police said.
