Chitwan, 1 April, 2015 : Patients in Chitwan district have been affected after the Nepal Medical Association (NMA) shutdown the OPD service in all hospitals in the district, citing the government was indifferent to address demands put forth by Prof Dr Govinda KC.

The OPD service has been shutdown in government as well as private hospitals in the district.

Chairman of the NMA, Chitwan, Dr Krishna Prasad Poudel, said some 2,500 patients visit the OPD service at all hospitals in the district every day.
