Kathmandu, 14th February, 2015 : Nearly thousand women from different organizations working for women rights have took out a peace rally from the Bhadrakali Temple to Radhakrishna Dabali in the capital city on the occasion of the One Billion Rising Campaign today.
The peace rally is globally observed on February 14 (today) every year to create an awareness to end violence against women, it is learnt.
The rally with cultural performances reached Radhakrishna Dabali through New Road and Hanumandhoka.
On the occasion, women rights activists have pointed out the need of ending all kinds of violence against the women.
