Birgunj,14 Feb 2015: Senior leader of the CPN (UML) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the politics and religion had the same purposes- devotion to human service.
Inaugurating a religious festival organized by the Brahma Kumari Rajyog Centre in Birgunj today, leader Nepal said that the politics and religion had the single motive of serving the people.
On the occasion, he praised the religious and human services catered by the Brahma Kumari Rajyog Centre. Leader Nepal extolled that the country Nepal itself is a heavenly place of ecstatic beauty. That’s why there was no meaning of talking another imaginary heaven.
He added that they were working to make the country peaceful and prosperous, and public support was needed for it.
The former Prime Minister said that they were making maximum efforts to construct International Airport at Nijgadha, and construct the Kathmandu-Nijgadh fast track and east-west railway.
The religious festival would continue till February 21.
