Biratnagar, Dec 12, 2014:Â Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) chairman Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar has said that there was maximum possibility of promulgating a new constitution on the slated time as the political parties were forging environment for consensus for the same.
Inaugurating a regional conference of Madhesi Youth Forum Nepal in Biratnagar today, leader Gachchhadar said the country would face critical situation if the constitution was not issued on the slated time and the constitution would not long last if it was not issued on the basis of consensus.
He said the 20-party alliance meeting would be held in Kathmandu today to discuss on the disputed issues of the new constitution and senior leaders of major political parties would hold meeting at PM’s official residence at Baluwatar in the evening.
The new constitution was needed for institutionalizing the peace process and the achievements of different peoples’ movements so that none would have to take to the streets in the days ahead for the same, leader Gachchhadar added.
Leaders are failing to meet the aspiration of people, therefore there was negative impact on people but it should be ended soon by promulgating the constitution on the slated time, leader Gachchhadar said.
