Balewa (Baglung), 18 Dec 2014: A probe committee formed by the government to investigate into the accident in which Nepali Congress lawmaker Hari Bahadur Khadka was killed has began its work.
The government formed the committee on December 8 with the mandate of completing the assigned task within a week. The three-member committee was formed under the convenorship of deputy attorney general Rajendra Subedi.
The committee was able to begin the work right now as they received the authorisation letter after a week, Subedi added.
The lawmaker Khadka had met with a jeep accident on December 3 on the way to his home district and died on December 8 in course of treatment.
Similarly, Nepali Congress had also formed a probe committee under the convenorship of party Spokesperson Dilendra Badu in this connection but it has also not even met the deceased family so far, family sources said.
