Birendranagar, Jan 18: The road leading to Kailali from west Surkhet has come into operation for public transportation.
A jeep from the Division Road Office in Surkhet was taken through the road to thereby open it for public transportation service.
A team led by Engineer Rabindra Maharjan and Sub-engineer at the Office Birendra Bahadur Chand had made a final inspection of the road, before opening it for the transportation service.
The road starting from Birendranagar of Surkhet reaches up to Sugarkhal VDC of Kailali via Babiyachaur, Gut and Ghatgaon.
The construction of the road had begun three years ago, according to Sub-engineer Chand.
