Kathmandu, Jan 26: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPPN) has decided to exert pressure for holding a referendum on the disputed issues of a new constitution.

The meeting of the party today decided to allocate the responsibility to the party central leaders to mobilise pressure-exerting programmes, said party assistant general secretary Rajaram Shrestha.

The meeting decided to make the party’s role more effective in the days ahead as the recently formed questionnaire committee by the constituent assembly could polarize political parties.

The meeting was attended by the party office-bearers, central committee members who were present in the capital and the lawmakers.
