Dhunche (Rasuwa),3 March 2015: The snowfall with rain taking place here for the past five days has left 25 foreign tourists reaching Langtang and Kanjeng for sight-seeing in lurch.

According to Tenzing Pasang Tamang, a social worker of Langtang, there is no favourable situation for locals and tourists to move with snow covering the human settlement.

The snow measures five feet in Langtang, which is at an altitude of 3,400 metres, and five-feet in Kyanjeng – some 3,900 metres atop from sea level.

Such a continuous snowfall was never seen since 20 years back, he added. The snowfall has put normal life in trouble and killed 5-6 yaks in the area.

Meanwhile, two locals died after buried in a mound of snow occurring in Mustang since Saturday night.

The deceased are Ramesh Budha of Nisi, Baglung and Deepa BK of Rukum, informed Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Govinda Pathak.
