Kathmandu, Jan 19: Nepal Tarun Dal, the Nepali Congress’ Youth wing, has submitted a memorandum to the Constituent Assembly (CA) chair Subash Nembang to exert pressure for timely constitution.
A delegation led by Tarun Dal chair Uday Shamsher Rana submitted the memorandum demanding for a democratic constitution that fits for Nepal.
Similarly, dalit lawmakers of different political parties including UCPN (Maoist), Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) Sanghiya Samajbadi Party Nepal among others also separately submitted memorandums to CA chair Nembang.
They have demanded to include the past agreements in a new constitution that were made with them. They have said that the bases for restructuring the state should be identity and capability.
Dalit lawmakers Daljit BK, Sita Nepali, Karna Bahadur BK, Anita Kumari Pariyar, Dhanmaya BK among others were present on the occasion.
