Kathmandu, June 24, 2018 : The Sharpeners Nepal has successfully organized the Grand Finale of ‘Quiztopia-2018’ at GoldenGate International College on Thursday. Intel Institute secured the title of the competition as Ambition Academy and Asian Public School became first and second runner ups respectively.
100 teams had participated in the first round from where top 12 teams qualified for the semi-finals. The three teams from three different semi-finals namely Intel Institute, Bhagawati English Secondary School and Ambititon Academy made a path to the Grand Finale. Asian Public School also got entry to the grand-finale through Wild card entry decided on the basis of the highest marks scored by any of the runner-ups in three different semi finals.
Quiz Master Saroj Ghimire hosted the Grand Finale on 21st June with jury members Ishwor Dahal , Aayush Dhungana and Amit Sapkota. The winners Intel institute(winner),Ambition Academy(First runner-up) and Asian School(Second runner-up) were awarded with NRS 10000,NRS 7500 ,NRS 5000 respectively along with trophies ,medals and certificates.
The Grand –Finale of the competition was attended by about 1200 audience. Then the event concluded with an outstanding musical performance by youth-icon Neetesh Jung Kunwar .
