Kathmandu,6 Dec 2014: Youths have demanded the concerned bodies that they took initiative to end violence against women.
At a press meet organized by Action Aid Nepal in the capital city on Friday, Ashish BK from the organization said Nepal has witnessed rising number of VAW cases because of dowry system, family dispute and love marriage.
All could join hand against the misbehaviour meted out against women in the public place and vehicles.
The Action Aid has informed that the women and teen girls were sexually harassed in crowd, and in the crowded public vehicle.
Although the women and disabled people are allocated seats in the public vehicles, the rule on it is not fully implemented.
