Bhaktapur,23 Nov 2014: A special programme for guests of 18th SAARC Summit has been scheduled on November 27 in Bhaktapur.
The special programme has been scheduled for two hours from 10:00 am. For SAARC guests, said Chief District Officer, Anil Kumar Thakur.
The District Administration Office has made all the preparations of the special programme for the First Ladies of SAARC visiting Bhaktapur.
A team headed by Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala will welcome the guests in Bhaktapur. The guests will be taken around to observe the different cultural heritages as well as historical places in the district. Cultural dances will also be performed.
A photo exhibition of major temples including Changunarayan, Doleshwor, goods of archeological importance and dances depicting culture is scheduled to be organised on the occasion.
The Madhyapur Thimi Municipality will build an attractive welcome gate at Manohara bridge. Security situation will be beefed-up at the programme venue from Manohara bridge on November 27. Shops only having the pass of administration will be opened.Â Police personnel and security personnel in plain clothes have been deployed in the district for the past one week.
