Kathmandu, 6th February, 2015 :Â The Non-Resident Nepalis Association in Spain has requested the government to establish a Nepali Embassy in Spain to strengthen the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Organising a news conference here today, the Association said that a new dimension would be added in bilateral investment and diplomatic relations once the Embassy is established there.
Association Chair Yekraj Giri said that the Association has submitted a memorandum to the President, the Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and chief of political parties in this regard.
He said that Nepalis living in and going to Spain are compelled to face many difficulties for lack of Nepali Embassy in Spain.
According to the Association, there was a likelihood of Spain also establishing an Embassy in Nepal if government of Nepal establishes its Embassy in Spain.
