NUMBERS OF PATIENTS INCREASED IN BHAKTAPUR

Bhaktapur, Aug. 12: Number of patients has increased at the most of the hospitals in Bhaktapur district with the outbreak of viral fever following climate change.

According to the District Public Health Office, with this, number of patients suffering from different diseases including fever, typhoid and jaundice has increased in the district.
Superintendent at the Bhaktapur Hospital, Dr Bimal Dhakal, said that score of patients has increased at Bhaktapur Hospital, Siddhi Memorial Hospital, Korea-Nepal Friendship Hospital, Nagarik Community Hospital, Madhyapur Hospital, public health centre and different clinics.

Most of the patients of rural areas in the district are found suffering from typhoid and jaundice, it is learnt.
Around 200 patients visit the Bhaktapur hospital every day.
