Kathmandu,Oct 21, 2016– CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli’s visit to Bangladesh scheduled to begin from Friday has been cancelled at the eleventh hour.
Leader Oli decided to cancel his visit bearing in mind the latest political developments in the country, according to party Office Secretary Krishna Gopal Shrestha.
The UML chair was scheduled to fly to Dhaka today to take part in the 20th National Council of the Awami League. Party central member Rajan Bhattarai is representing the party in the Council.
It is noted that presently political parties’ leaders have cancelled their scheduled foreign trips after the impeachment motion was registered at the Legislature-Parliament against Chief of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Lokman Singh Karki. RSS
