Bhaktapur, 18th January,2015 :Â Minister for Irrigation, NP Saud, has said that no one can obstruct the constitution writing process.
Inaugurating the office of the Nepali Congress Mahamanjushree-Nagarkot Town Coordination Committee in Bhaktapur today, Minister Saud said the new constitution
would be promulgated at any cost even if it was delayed.
Stating that people would reject the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) if they could not promulgate the new statute even after getting two-thirds majority, he said the new constitution would be promulgated even through voting process if consensus was not forged on the disputed issues.
The Irrigation Minister said the new statute would be brought addressing the demands of opposition parties even through voting process if consensus was not forged, saying discussion was underway to forge consensus.
On the occasion, Minister Saud honoured local living martyr Lila Bahadur Pandit.
Former President of Nepal Tarun Dal Binod Kayastha, NC Bhaktapur President, Ganeshman Chakradhar, among others expressed the views that the NC should end groupism.
