Kathmandu, July 9, 2017: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education, Gopalman Shrestha, has expressed determination that government would implement the ‘One School One Library campaign’ immediately.
Shrestha made the remark responding to queries raised during a discussion in today’s Legislature-Parliament meeting on different topics related to the ministry under Appropriation Bill-2074 BS.
He further said that the government has made arrangements for different facilities to ensure conflict victim from Dalit and marginalized community are not deprived of education. He said that action would be taken against those community found collecting fees illegally from students under any pretext, while informing that the reconstruction of 9,333 schools, damaged in Gorkha earthquake, has started.
