Solukhumbu, 15 Oct 2014: A VDC secretary is bearing work load of over a dozen VDCs in Solu in absence of secretaries in other VDCs. The problem has emerged when the concerned VDC secretaries have not yet returned offices even after a long time following the celebration of Dashain festival. Secretary of Lekhim VDC Rojan Khatry is looking after the affairs of 15 VDCs including Juving and Basa.
Likewise, secretary of Nechabetase VDC Khyam Bahadur Khatiwada is taking charge of 13 VDCs including Salleri and Kange.
After the Dashain vacation, there are flurry of works in the VDCs ranging from recommendation for citizenship certificate, registration and other public services, said VDC Secretary Khatiwada.
A person has to bear more work load of the VDCs since most of the secretaries will return the district only after the celebration of Tihar – another great festival of Nepali people.
