Onion Films to Conduct Film-making Workshop For Young People

Kathmandu, 21 Feb, 2015: Onion Films has announced the eighth edition of its popular movie-making workshop called ” Young Cuts!”. The 20-days workshop comprising of 6 days of classes and 14 days of field-work will start from 6th March 2015. The workshop is designed for beginners and will teach movie-making skills to 20 selected young people and also provide them with grants to make short movies on their ideas. The workshop is being conducted in partnership with the Accountability Lab.

In the workshop, the participants will learn about the story selection process, script writing, production design, cinematography, editing, and direction process through internal resource persons as well as external resource persons like Manoj Pandit, Abinash Bikram Shah, Narendra Mainali. 4 of the best story ideas from the participants will also be granted seed money to produce short movies on them.
