Kathmandu, December 25, 2016: Department of Transport Management has started the online application system for driving license in Kathmandu.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak inaugurated the online application system at the Transport Management Office in Ekantakuna, Lalitpur district on Sunday afternoon.
Responding to the widespread criticism from the different quarters for the mismanagement of application system for the driving license, the government had decided to come up with the online application system.
As of now, one can apply online for license of Motorcycle, Scooter and Moped only, and license application from 500 only will be processed in a single day.
