Kathmandu, 25 March, 2015 : The compulsion of visiting the local bodies to register vital details of birth, death, marriage and others has ended from today.
A recipient now can register his/her vital details through online as the Central Documentation Department under the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development has launched the online registration system from today.
Inaugurating the service here today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Prakashman Singh, said that it would render faster service to service seekers and would further facilitate government in day to day work as data keeping.
DPM Singh said that the ministry would soon establish a Disaster Management and Fire Control Department soon.
Secretary at the Ministry, Somlal Subedi opined that it would help different municipalities, VDCs and other bodies to carry out works more efficiently.
