Bhaktapur, 4 April, 2015 :Â Minister for Industry Mahesh Basnet has said that the constitution drafting process was obstructed due to the conflict between the forces favoring constitution and those against it.
At a press meet organized by Rafat Communications Club at Doleshwar in the district today, Minister Basnet said the people should oppose the opposition alliance’s protests because it was meaningless. He added that a new constitution should be promulgated even through voting process if consensus bid fails.
Moreover, he said the Doleshwar Temple area should be developed as the touristic area by developing the infrastructures.
On the occasion, Minister Basnet felicitated the newly elected members at the temple development committee.
Meanwhile, at a different programme, Minister Basnet said that he was planning to set up ‘New Thoughts Fund’ of Rs 500 million for self employment programmes. About 15,000 youths would be benefited from the first phase of the prgoramme to run under with the fund.
While addressing a proggramme organized by Bhimeshwor Academy on the occasion of its 9th anniversary at Kandaghari, he said that the preparation was on to formulate a new industrial policy.
Nepal Cricket Team captain Paras Khadka and Guinness book record breaker Thaneshwar Guragain were felicitated by the Minister at the programme.
