Kawasoti, 20th January,2015 : A person has donated Rs 5 million to the Nepal Shanti Secondary School, Deurali in Nawalparasi district, for its improvement.
Ghanshyam Pandey of Rakuwa provided the amount to the school in memory of his father Kamalpati Pandey and brother Dhruba Narayan Pandey.
He donated the amount on the occasion of the silver jubilee of the school. The silver jubilee of the school was celebrated for five days from January 16.
Of late, different people have started providing financial support to the school and the donation has reached to over Rs 7 million, said school principal Lal Chand Lamichhane.
Pandey is the first person providing such large amount of donation to the school.
Lamichhane said that the donation will be spent for the development of education and physical infrastructures.
