Dhangadhi, June 21, 2016:Â Several localities in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City have become waterlogged following the rainfall since this morning.
Water up to three feet high has accumulated at the Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 due to lack of proper drainage. As many as seven houses have been waterlogged at Bishalnagar of the town, stranding the families.
Many government offices including the District Development Committee, the District Livestock Service Office and the Nepal Telecom Office, among others have become waterlogged.
The rainfall, however, has brought cheer to the farmers and they are busy planting rice seedlings.
