29 October,2014:After playing a tribal girl in Njan, actress Pearle Maaney will be seen in the multi-starrer Double Barrel—Eratta Kuzhal helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery.
The actress, who has been cast opposite Asif Ali, says her character in the film is a lot of fun.
“We are the silence breakers in the film and every time we make an appearance, something interesting can be expected to happen. The film’s first schedule got over in Fort Kochi and the second has just begun in Goa,” says Pearle. Quiz her about her look in the movie and Pearle jokes, “Everyone other than me sports a different and stylised look. I was told that I already look ‘dangerous’ enough and thus, there isn’t a need to sport a different look for my role.”
Meanwhile, Pearle is also anchoring a dance reality show on television, D4Dance, as its anchor Jewel is busy with her big screen project, Pathemari, in which she is cast opposite Mammootty. “I will host around nine episodes, post which Jewel will take over. We will be together again for the show’s finale,” says the actress.
Double Barrel—Eratta Kuzhal also stars Isha Sharvani, Swathi Reddy, Prithviraj, Indrajith, Sajid Yahiya, Vijay Babu, Parvathi Menon, Chemban Vinod, Sunny Wayne and Kollywood actor Arya. Recently, Prithviraj’s uber cool look in the film complete with a goatee had created a lot of buzz on the virtual space.
