Kathmandu, Aug. 25: People of Koteswor in capital have built a three-story modern building for the Nepal Police with people’s participation.
The building built at Koteswor Chowk in KMC Ward No. 35 came into operation for the Metropolitan Police Sector Office.
The building was built at a cost of Rs. 6.2 million through donations by 134 people and goods by 59 people.
A local social worker Ganapati Sharma provided Rs. 1.5 million and Biswombhar Krishna Parajuli Rs. 1.1 million for which Ram Prasad Dhakal had donated land 28 years ago.
