Bhaktapur, 28 March, 2015 : Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli have decided to accelerate consensus efforts to deliver constitution on time.

At a meeting held at leader Oli’s residence, Balkot of Bhaktapur, today, the two dwelt on how they could hone the consensus bid.

Following the meeting, PM Koirala said, “Our first priority is consensus for the constitution. And if it eludes, majority process is there.”

According to Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pande, although the PM and the UML Chairman exchanged information on their health conditions, they mainly focused the constitution writing process.

The two, as Minister Pande said, were of the views that the protest programmes of the opposition parties were meaningless.

Moreover, he said the consensus, if not forged on coming Sunday it would not take more than three to four days.
