Biratnagar, August 21, 2015: Over 150 tankers that were stuck at Biratnagar-based Customs Office due to indefinite shutdown called by the United Madhesi Front have been escorted by police to their respective destinations.
A total of 168 tankers were dispatched to bordering Nimuwa Budhilola of Morang district according to the District Police Office, Morang.
Sunsari Police sent the tankers to their destination from bordering Nimuwa Budhilola escorting them. Numbers of good-loaded trucks have been stuck at the Customs premises.
At the same time, Prakash Kumar Khadka, 30, of Biratnagar-7 was taken into custody along with drugs on Thursday night, according to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar. He was found with 135 nitrogen tablets and a bottle of Corex from Malayaroad in Biratnagar-18.
