Nepalgunj, June 6, 2015: In 22 different district in Terai, polio drop programme was conducted today for about 2.4 million children below age five.
The beginning of the programme was marked by the minister of Health and Population Khagraj Adhikari amid a function at Prabhat Memorial School in Nepalgunj by administering polio drops to the children.
In the pogramme Minister Adhikari said that Nepal is continuing the campaign as polio may reappear in the country though it was eradicated from the country.Further he added that Nepal was contributing in polio eradication campaign from the world.
