Portugese volunteers build school building for Chepang children in Chitwan

Chitwan, August 9, 2017: Volunteers from Portugal have constructed a school building for the children of the Chepang community at Ratnanagar of Chitwan district at their own investment and labor.

They constructed the school building at a cost of around Rs 500,000 within 15 days and handed it over to the school Tuesday. The building was constructed at Gambesi Chepang Conservation Center, said Center Chairperson KP Kiran Sharma.

A volunteer said that the school building was constructed with an objective of providing education to the poor children deprived from education.

A total of nine volunteers had constructed the school building.
