Poudyal appointed as Global Alliance for Banking on Values for Asia-Pacific region

Kathmandu, April 27, 2018: Upendra Poudyal, a senior banker has been appointed as representative for its Asia-Pacific region by the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV).

Currently a director of Nabil Bank and National Banking Institute Nepal, Poudyal will responsibly be facilitating the activities and commitments for expanding the network in the region of the Asia-Pacific Chapter as per the statement of the GABV.

“GABV recognized his 100% commitment towards principles of the GABV and believes these principle will support to ensure health and productive banking system of the society.” said Poudyal after his appointment as a representative for Asia-Pacific region. He added that finance change is only possible by changing finance.

Poudyal, retired from the position of CEO of NMB Bank after GABV global conference in Kathmandu held under his coordination. He also served Nepal Banker’s Association as the president.
